Sustainability Coordinator

Rivanna Natural Designs

I recently moved to Richmond after completing my Master's Degree in Environmental Sustainability at Wake Forest University. My degree has taught me to consider the world holistically, and I plan to carry this mindset with me both personally and professionally.

I recently began working at Rivanna Natural Designs, a wonderful B Corp in Richmond focused on created sustainably sourced award plaques. My overall goals are to track and reduce carbon emissions, water usage, energy, and waste, while reducing our overall impact as a manufacturing business.

I am always open to meeting locals in Richmond interested in the environment, sustainability, nature, or just having a fun conversation about life.

I am motivated by the fact that every carpet tile that I sell helps to break the cycle of the take-make-waste economic model that is robbing future generations of the equal opportunity to live and prosper on a healthy and verdant planet.

My goals, professionally, are to accurately educate end-users, the A+D community and flooring dealers about the benefits of Interface and FLOR carpet tiles to the performance, well being and sustainability of the built environment.
