Sustainability Graduate Programs Core Courses

Taking the material covered in the four core courses, the Applied Sustainability course provides hands-on opportunities through group projects, providing direct interactions with organizations working in the field of sustainability. In the summer following the second semester, students will have the choice of completing a research thesis or internship to meet their final degree requirements. GRE scores are not required for application to the Master of Arts in Sustainability program.

Financial Assistance

Because the Sustainability Graduate Programs at Wake Forest University are highly selective and intentionally small, we offer institutional financial support. Institutional financial support is awarded on a rolling basis, so early application is highly encouraged. To ensure full consideration for institutional financial support, complete applications should be submitted by January 15. Applicants will be considered for institutional financial support after that time, but funds are limited.
